Posh Fish – OxfordSince we’re on the final stretch of our holiday in England, it’s only fitting that we sample the finest of standard British fare before we go. This means we must inevitably eat a kebab. Tonight was the night, and we ventured down the road to a popular takeaway spot, Posh Fish. Note: not actually posh. This fine swaddled baby you see before me is the standard size kebab, which cost a whopping £5.10. Rather than doner meat, we got chicken. It was, literally, the size of a baby. Opening the packet, it remained compact for about 3 seconds, then exploded across the table, with the four of us courageously tackling it. The kebab won. I’m sorry, it looks like the grossest thing we ate in England. But it’s just the looks, it wasn’t that bad. There were a lot of salad. And there are far worse things to eat in England. Like McDonalds. Posh Fish |
